There is so many information about a newborn. but there area few things that I wished if I know it before I have my first baby. because when an unexpected thing happens to my baby, my feeling gets hurt. I assume that happens for all new parents.

Baby may be, well, a little funny-looking.

When I had my first baby I surprised how he looks like. Heis not as I imagined a beautiful child. his head was smooshed from his journey through the birth canal and his body cover with fine hair called lanugo. His eyes are often shut.  But after a week he becomes the beautiful baby. So just be ready for some smooshed ears, puffy eyes, and flaky skin for the first week or so.

Newborns sleep a lot, but Not for long periods.

For me, it was boring when my son was sleeping almost all the time. He only woke up if he was hungry. He was noisy when he woke up crying at night. So, you need to know that newborn Pretty much will be sleeping in 1-2hour stretches about 5-10 times a day. Baby in his first three months needs to eat every 2-3 hours, so you will not get too much sleep.
